SAFETY

• By ignoring the safety instructions the

manufacturer cannot be held responsible for

the damage.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its service

agent or similarly qualified persons in order to

avoid a hazard.

• Never move the appliance by pulling the cord

and make sure the cord cannot become

entangled.

• The appliance must be placed on a stable,

level surface.

• This appliance is only to be used for

household purposes and only for the purpose

it is made for.

• This appliance shall not be used by children

aged less than 8 years. This appliance can be

used by children aged from 8 years and above

and persons with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities or lack of experience and

knowledge if they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of

the appliance in a safe way and understand

the hazards involved. Children shall not play

with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its

cord out of reach of children aged less than 8

years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall

not be made by children unless older than 8

and supervised.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Take the appliance andaccessoriesoutthebox.Removethe

stickers,protective foilorplasticfrom thedevice.

• Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10

cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for

installation in a cabinet or for outside use.

• Before the first use boil a full kettle of water to clean the kettle and

discard this water.

• Connect the power cable to the socket. (Note: Make sure the indicated

voltage on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the

device. Voltage 220V-240V~ 50-60Hz.)

USE

Thermal safety cut-out

• The pre-set thermal safety cut-out protects the heating element from

overheating should the appliance be erroneously switched on without

any water, or if the heating plate is calcified. If the safety cut-out is

activated, the appliance cannot be switched on again. In such a case,

the appliance must be allowed to cool down or must be descaled

before it is switched on again.

Temperature selection and operation

• Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket.

• Fill the jug with the required quantity of water (minimum 0.5L, maximum

1.7L).

• Use the cup indicator on the main body to determine the amount of water

you need.

• Close the lid and place the container on the base.

• The temperature can be selected using the and button on the

control panel.

• Pressing the button will set the temperature at 40°C.

• Pressing the button will set the temperature at 100°C.

• Press one of these buttons repeatedly to set the desired temperature.

• The current water temperature is shown on the display.

• Press the on/off button to confirm.

• The heating process begins. Once the pre-set temperature has been

reached, the heating system automatically switches off

• The boiling process can be interrupted by pressing the on/off button. The

appliance is now in standby mode.

• To pour hot water, remove the container from its base.

• To prevent hot steam from being emitted, ensure that the lid remains

closed while pouring water.

• Temperatures below 40°C cannot be selected.

Automatic switch-off

• Unless the keep-warm function has been selected, the display will switch

off automatically around 3 minutes after the last operation.

• In the keep-warm mode, the kettle switches off after around 120 minutes.

Quick-boil function

• When placing the water container onto the base and by pressing the on/

off button, the water is heated to 100°C without the need to set a

temperature.

Keep-warm function

• The kettle comes with a keep-warm function.

• To activate this function, first press the keep warm function button.

• Use the or to select a temperature between 40° and 90°.

• Press the on/off button to confirm.

• The heating process begins. Once the pre-set temperature is reached,

the heating system is automatically switched off.

• The water is kept warm for about 120 minutes.

• This function is automatically cancelled after pressing the on/off button,

the kettle will return to standby modus.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool

down.

• Use a soft damp cloth to clean the housing of the device.

• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive

cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.

• Never immerse the kettle and base in water or any other liquids.

• The device should be regularly decalcified. Use a descaling product

which is suitable for household appliances.

• Rinse the kettle several times with clean water after descaling.

VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK

• Haal het apparaat en de accessoires uit de doos.Verwijder de stickers,

de beschermfolie of het plastic van het apparaat.

• Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond. Zorg voor

minimaal 10 cm vrije ruimte rondom het apparaat. Dit apparaat is niet

geschikt voor inbouw of gebruik buitenshuis.

• Kook voor het eerste gebruik eerst een volle kan water om de kan te

reinigen. Gooi dit water weg.

• Sluit de voedingskabel aan op het stopcontact. (Opmerking: Controleer

of het voltage op het apparaat overeenkomt met de plaatselijke

netspanning voordat u het apparaat aansluit. Voltage 220-240V~,

50-60Hz)

GEBRUIK

Uitsparing voor temperatuurbeveiliging

• De geïntegreerde uitsparing voor temperatuurbeveiliging beschermt het

verwarmingselement tegen oververhitting wanneer het apparaat per

ongeluk wordt ingeschakeld zonder water, of als de verwarmingsplaat

verkalkt is. Als de uitsparing voor beveiliging wordt geactiveerd, kan het

apparaat niet meer worden ingeschakeld. In dat geval moet u het

apparaat laten afkoelen of ontkalken voordat u het weer inschakelt.

Temperatuurselectie en bediening

• Steek de stekker in een geschikt stopcontact.

• Vul de kan met de vereiste hoeveelheid water (minimaal 0,5l, maximaal

1,7l)

• Gebruik de kopjesindicator op het hoofdgedeelte om te bepalen hoeveel

water u nodig hebt.

• Sluit het deksel en plaats het reservoir op de basis.

• De temperatuur kan worden geselecteerd met de knoppen en op

het bedieningspaneel.

• Druk op de knop om de temperatuur in te stellen op 40°C.

• Druk op de knop om de temperatuur in te stellen op 100°C.

• Druk herhaaldelijk op een van deze knoppen om de gewenste

temperatuur in te stellen.

• De huidige watertemperatuur wordt op het display weergegeven.

• Druk op de aan/uit-knop om te bevestigen.

• Het opwarmproces wordt gestart. Zodra de vooraf ingestelde

temperatuur is bereikt, wordt het opwarmsysteem automatisch

uitgeschakeld.

• Het kookproces kan worden onderbroken door op de aan/uit-knopte

drukken. Het apparaat staat nu in de stand-bymodus.

• Als u heet water wilt schenken, verwijdert u het reservoir van de basis.

• Zorg ervoor dat het deksel gesloten blijft tijdens het schenken van water

om te voorkomen dat er hete stoom ontsnapt.

• U kunt geen temperatuur onder de 40°C selecteren.

Automatisch uitschakelen

• Het display wordt 3minuten na de laatste actie automatisch

uitgeschakeld, tenzij de warmhoudfunctie is geselecteerd.

• In de warmhoudmodus wordt de waterkoker na ongeveer 120minuten

uitgeschakeld.

Snelkookfunctie

• Als u het waterreservoir op de basis plaatst en op de aan/uit-knopdrukt,

wordt het water verwarmd tot 100°C zonder dat u een temperatuur hoeft

in te stellen.

Warmhoudfunctie

• De waterkoker is voorzien van een warmhoudfunctie.

• Als u deze functie wilt activeren, drukt u eerst op de knop voor de

warmhoudfunctie.

• Gebruik de knop of om een temperatuur tussen 40°C en 90°C te

selecteren.

• Druk op de aan/uit-knop om uw keuze te bevestigen.

• Het opwarmproces wordt gestart. Zodra de vooraf ingestelde

temperatuur is bereikt, wordt het opwarmsysteem automatisch

uitgeschakeld.

• Het water wordt ongeveer 120minuten warm gehouden.

• Deze functie wordt automatisch geannuleerd nadat u op de aan/uit-knop

drukt. De waterkoker wordt dan in de stand-bymodus gezet.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

• Verwijder voor reiniging de stekker uit het stopcontact en wacht tot het

apparaat is afgekoeld.

• Gebruik een zachte vochtige doek om de behuizing van het apparaat te

reinigen.

• Reinig het apparaat met een vochtige doek. Gebruik nooit agressieve of

schurende reinigingsmiddelen, schuursponzen of staalwol; dit beschadigt

het apparaat.

• Dompel de waterkoker en de basis nooit onder in water of andere

vloeistoffen.

• Het apparaat moet regelmatig worden ontkalkt. Gebruik een

ontkalkingsmiddel dat geschikt is voor huishoudelijke apparaten.

• Spoel na het ontkalken de waterkoker een aantal keer met schoon water.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

• Sortez l'appareil et les accessoires hors de la boîte.Retirez les

autocollants, le film protecteur ou le plastique de l'appareil.

• Mettez l'appareil sur une surface stable plate et assurez un dégagement

tout autour de l'appareil d'au moins 10 cm. Cet appareil ne convient pas

à une installation dans une armoire ou à un usage à l'extérieur.

• Faites bouillir une bouilloire d’eau avant la première utilisation pour

nettoyer la bouilloire et jetez cette eau.

• Connectez le câble d'alimentation à la prise. (Remarque: Assurez-vous

que la tension indiquée sur l'appareil correspond à la tension locale

avant de brancher l'appareil. Voltage 220 V-240 V~, 50-60 Hz.)

UTILISATION

Disjoncteur thermique de sécurité

• Le disjoncteur thermique de sécurité préréglé protège l'élément chauffant

contre la surchauffe si l'appareil est mis en marche par erreur sans eau,

ou si la plaque chauffante est calcifiée. Si le disjoncteur de sécurité est

activé, l'appareil ne peut plus être mis en marche. Dans ce cas, il faut

laisser l'appareil refroidir ou le détartrer avant de le remettre en marche.

Sélection de température et fonctionnement

• Branchez la fiche secteur dans une prise murale adaptée.

• Remplissez le récipient avec la quantité d'eau requise (minimum 0,5L,

maximum 1,7L).

• Utilisez l'indicateur de tasse sur le corps principal pour déterminer la

quantité d'eau dont vous avez besoin.

• Fermez le couvercle et placez le récipient sur la base.

• La température peut être sélectionnée à l'aide du et bouton sur le

panneau de commande.

• En appuyant sur le bouton, la température sera réglée à 40 °C.

• En appuyant sur le bouton, la température sera réglée à 100 °C.

• Appuyez plusieurs fois sur un de ces boutons pour régler la température

souhaitée.

• La température du moment de l'eau est indiquée sur l'écran.

• Appuyez sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt pour confirmer.

• Le processus de chauffage commence. Une fois la température

préréglée atteinte, le système de chauffage s'éteint automatiquement

Marche/Arrêt. L'appareil est maintenant en mode veille.

• Pour verser l'eau chaude, retirez le récipient de sa base.

• Il est impossible de sélectionner des températures inférieures à 40 °C.

Arrêt automatique

• Si la fonction de maintien au chaud n'a pas été sélectionnée, l'écran

s'éteint automatiquement environ 3 minutes après la dernière opération.

• En mode de maintien au chaud, la bouilloire s'éteint après environ 120

minutes.

Fonction d'ébullition rapide

• En plaçant le récipient d'eau sur la base et en appuyant sur le bouton

Marche/Arrêt, l'eau est chauffée à 100 °C sans qu'il soit nécessaire de

régler la température.

Fonction de maintien au chaud

• La bouilloire est dotée d'une fonction de maintien au chaud.

• Pour activer cette fonction, appuyez d'abord sur le bouton de maintien au

chaud.

• Utilisez le ou pour choisir une température entre40° et90°.

• Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt pour confirmer.

• Le processus de chauffage commence. Une fois la température

préréglée atteinte, le système de chauffage s'éteint automatiquement.

• L'eau est maintenue au chaud pendant environ 120 minutes.

• Cette fonction est automatiquement annulée après avoir appuyé sur le

bouton marche/arrêt, la bouilloire revient en mode veille.

NETTOYAGE ET MAINTENANCE

• Avant le nettoyage, débranchez l'appareil et attendez qu'il refroidisse.

• Utilisez un chiffon doux humide pour nettoyer les surfaces de l’appareil.

• Nettoyez l'appareil avec un chiffon humide. N'utilisez pas de produits

nettoyants agressifs ou abrasifs, de tampons à récurer ou de laine de

verre, ceux-ci pourraient endommager l'appareil.

• N’immergez jamais la bouilloire et le socle dans l’eau ou tout autre

liquide.

• L'appareil doit être détartré régulièrement. Utilisez un détartrant adapté

aux appareils électroménagers.

• Après le détartrage, rincez plusieurs fois la bouilloire avec de l’eau

propre.
