Marinating foods

∙ Use the Marinate function to marinate foods quickly.

∙ Put marinated foods into a vacuum container and

proceed as described under “Using with a vacuum

container”, but select the Marinate function.

∙ The appliance takes approx. 5 minutes to suck the air

out of the container and ll the air back in.

Using with vacuum zipper bags

Vacuum zipper bags are not included.

Tip! Suitable vacuum zipper bags (item no. 3619)

can be ordered conveniently on the Internet from our

homepage http://www.severin.de under the section

“Service / Ersatzteil-Shop”.

∙ Put the food in a vacuum zipper bag and close the

zipper on the bag.

∙ Proceed as described under Using with a vacuum

container, but t the adapter attachment onto the

vacuum hose.

∙ Ensure that the vacuum pump does not suck in any

liquid. But if it does, press the Start/Stop button

immediately.

∙ When the vacuum sealing process is complete, close

the valve cover on the bag.

Cleaning and care

∙ Before cleaning the appliance, always remove the plug

from the wall outlet.

∙ To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the

appliance with liquids or immerse it.

∙ The exterior of the housing may be cleaned with a

damp, lint-free cloth.

∙ Remove the foam gaskets, clean them, dry and replace

them if necessary.

∙ Remove the collection rail, clean it, dry it and put it back

in the vacuum chamber if necessary.

∙ To clean the vacuum chamber, sealing bar or silicone

gasket of any persistent residues, allow the appliance to

cool down rst and then carefully remove the residues

with a damp cloth.

∙ Clean and dry the adapter attachment if necessary.

Replacement bags and lm rolls

Any regular vacuum lm bags or rolls with a knobbed

surface structure may be used with this appliance. This

type of surface allows optimum air extraction. The width of

the bag/roll must not exceed 30 cm.

Suitable replacement bags/rolls are available at household

stores or may be obtained through SEVERIN Service,

quoting article no.

ZB 3613 (bags 16 x 25 cm)

ZB 3614 (bags 20 x 30 cm)

ZB 3615 (bags 30 x 40 cm)

ZB 3616 (lm roll 20 x 600 cm)

ZB 3617 (lm roll 30 x 600 cm).
